Mercy Chinwo joins Pastor Kumuyi and other prominent Nigerians at Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s annual Christmas Carol Concert programme at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja.

The Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, hosted prominent Nigerians on Monday night for the annual Christmas Praise Concert at the Presidential Villa, Abuja to commemorate the Christmas season.

The event was graced by the General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor W.F Kumuyi, wife of the Vice President, Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo, Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Dr Emmanuel Akabe.

Also, Federal Ministers, members of the National Assembly, heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies, members of the Diplomatic Corp, the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, and his wife, Olori Atuwase III, Amanyanabo of Twon-Brass, Alfred Diete-Spiff.

Sonorous gospel music minister, Mercy Chinwo gave a sterling performance of what she knows to do best at the Christmas Carol concert held in Aso Rock.

Mercy Chinwo was the last artiste who ministered at the event. The ‘Excess Love’ crooner showered the day with powerful praises and worship songs.

Also, the Aso Villa Chapel Choir and other choral groups such as Kaduna Metropolitan Choir, Kaduna State; Unity Choir, from the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria, Yola, Adamawa State, De Avon Chorale and Orchestra from Cross River state, Royal City Chorale from Owerri, Imostate, Lagos City Chorale and the Hallelujah Nigeria African Carol ministered at the Christmas Carol Concert held at the Old Presidential Banquet Hall, Abuja.

Part of the activities at the Christmas Carol Concert was reading of selected scriptures by Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Folashade Yemi-Esan, the United States Ambassador to Nigeria, Mary Leonard and the Tor Tiv, Professor James Ayatse from Gboko, Benue State.

The General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor W.F Kumuyi, preached the message of peace at the event, emphasizing the divine revelation, realization and the glorification of the destined restoration that Christ brought to the world.

Christian Feeds recalls that the yearly praise concert did not hold in 2021 due to certain restrictions caused by the pandemic that rocked the world.
