Venue, Time & Full Names of Gospel Ministers For 2021 Akwa Ibom Christmas Carol Festival

Akwa Ibom will undoubtedly be lit this Friday with melodious Christmas songs and praises as it sets for the 2021 edition of its annual carol concert. This year’s concert promises to be mind-blowing as it unveils powerful lineups of Spirit-filled ministers of God.

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, and the Senior Pastor of The Potter’s House Church from the United States of America, Bishop T.D Jakes, will minister in words at the Carol concert.

Music ministers to headline the highly anticipated concert include Panam Percy Paul, Dunsin Oyekan, Ada Ehi, Tim Godfrey, Aity Dennis, Bobby Friga, David G, Emma Onyx, GUC, Progress Effiong, John Bassey, Patience Ekwere and Uduakobong Akpan Jnr.

Also anticipated are over 5 000 carol singers, AKSG Choir, Intensity, Ibom Brass, Promised Land Chorale, and the Singing Bird Orchestra.

Addressing the media ahead of the event, the Senior Special Assistant to the state governor, Udom Emmanuel on Public Affair, Mr. Raphael Edem, revealed that the Akwa Ibom Christmas Carol Festival was conceived to enhance the spiritual rejuvenation of the state and her people.

He further revealed that the 2020 edition of the carol concert was cancelled due to COVID-19 and safety measures to prevent its spread.

Mr. Raphael Edem further revealed the theme for the 2021 Akwa Ibom Christmas carol concert as ‘The Return’, and it is coined from Isaiah 51:11, which states; ‘Therefore, the redeemed of the Lord shall return and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head; they shall obtain gladness and joy; sorrow and mourning shall flee away’.

Raphael Edem also spoke on the invited ministers for the event, stating it is the first time the concert will host two guest ministers. From its inception in 2018, it has continued to count numerous successes.
