PRESS STATEMENT ON HILLTOP CITY CHRISTIAN CENTRE'S SPIRIT & LIFE

CONFERENCE ( SPILCON 2022)

 

The HILLTOP CITY CHRISTIAN CENTRE wishes to inform and invite the general public to its forthcoming Word Conference tagged SPIRIT & LIFE CONFERENCE (SPILCON 2022) The spirit & Life Conference is an Apostolic Word and Power Conference where deep teachings of the word of God and tenets of the Apostles are dished out to Participants in a no-holds-barred manner. It is the second edition of the program. The Vision of the SPILCON was given to the Lead Pastor and Set Man of the Hilltop City Christian Centre, Pastor Victor Akintunde and the first edition was held between July 7th and 1, 2021.

The Vision of SPILCON, as a Word and Power Conference that focuses on teaching the undiluted word of God to Christians, comes very timely at this time in view of the increasing depreciation in the value and popularity of unbridled and true doctrines of the gospel as handed down by the apostles of old. The pervasive change in the world will appear to be sweeping through the church too and while it comes with a lot of innovations that helps in the spread of the good news, it also has bedeviled the church with serious liabilities in the area of depth and impeachability of the teachings and doctrines of today's ministers and by implication, today's Christians. SPILCON aims to take us back to the old time religion by teaching participants correct

principles and application of the Christian faith as stated in the scriptures.

The Year's edition, SPILCON 2.0 will be held at the International Headquarters of The Hilltop City Christian Centre, (EAGLES'

NEST), located at Number 18 - 20, Aina Street, Ojodu Lagos from Wednesday 6th July to Saturday 9th July 2022 under the Theme: "THY KINGDOM COME". The theme cannot be more timely as the kingdom of this world is surreptitiously running to overtake the penetration and prevalence of the word of God in this generation. This year's conference seeks to push to reality the prophecy in

Revelations 1 1 : 1 5 that "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!"

The maiden edition of the conference, SPILCON 2021, was held from Wednesday 7th July 2021 to Saturday 1 0th July 2021 under the theme "MADE

PERFECT....THOROUGHLY FURNISHED". It was a powerful time of receiving from the Lord and the programme was signposted by miracles, signs and wonders evidenced with testimonies.

To minister in word and power at this year's conference, are anointed preachers of the Gospel. Pastor Sola Joseph Owoeye, is a Proven Minister of God in the Redeemed Christian Church of God. He is an Assistant Pastor In Charge of Region 35 who also doubles as Pastor in Charge of Youth Province 2. He will be the main

Speaker while he will be ably supported by anointed servant of God, Pastor Taiwo Kolawole, a teacher of the word with considerable Prophetic Grace , and the Lead Pastor of CHRIST INTERVENTION CHRISTIAN CENTRE, CITY OF CHRIST, based in Arepo, Ogun State. Participants at the conference are set to experience a great transformation in their walk with God, which will make the Kingdom of God to be unleashed in their lives. There will also be anointed Worship Ministers who will be leading us into the presence of God through Worship during the conference. The Hilltop Melodies are the host choir and will be joined by The Jehoshaphat Squad and Minister Busolami. The conference will be jointly hosted by Pastor Victor Akintunde and Pastor Bukola Akintunde, the Lead Pastors at HILLTOP CITY.

The event lineup for the conference is very simple and easy to follow. The Opening Service and Day 1 of the conference will come up on Wednesday 6th July by 6pm prompt while red carpet opens at 5pm. Day 2 and 3 will also follow in like manner with the services opening at 6pm daily. The highpoint of the Conference will be on the last day, Saturday 9th July 2022 which is tagged "TARRY MEETING" - This is a Meeting where Participants tarry for the Power of the Holy Spirit for diverse manifestations for 7hours from 8am in the morning. This is a Holy Ghost Meeting, the dimensions of which no one can predict other than that "The Power of God shall be manifest for unmatchable exploits.

The Convener of the Conference, the Hilltop City Christian Centre is a Pentecostal Ministry with a mandate to transform men to God Chasers and World Changers. The ministry is rooted in Apostolic doctrines of the early Church and seeks to raise giants in the kingdom and the marketplace. The Church Campus is located in the very Popular Aina Street in Ojodu Lagos, a Walking distance from the Renowned Ojodu Berger Bus Terminus in Lagos. The Church campus is comfortably situated on a sprawling grounds with ample car parking facility and a beautiful meeting auditorium. Families with Children are assured of adequate care with our junior church teachers and children Care Givers. SPILCON 2022 is a veritable opportunity for many to get to know about and partake of the great and mighty things that God is doing for and through the Eagles who nest regularly at the Hilltop.
