In the message titled ‘’Some Blessings With All Its Cost
Implications’’, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye made reference to the book of Psalm
106:13-15 NKJV as a study guide, recounting how the Israelites went against
God’s will when they requested a King.
In the same vein, he stressed the principles to apply
when requesting from God. Fans of Mike Bamiloye who commented on the post
appreciated and said Amen to the prayers.

“SOME "BLESSINGS" WITH ALL ITS COST IMPLICATIONS
Psalm 106:13-15 NKJV
[13] They soon forgot His works; They did not wait for His
counsel,
[14] But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, And tested
God in the desert.
[15] And He gave them their request, But sent leanness into
their soul.
1 Samuel 8:5, 7, 9 NKJV
[5] and said to him, "Look, you are old, and your sons
do not walk in your ways. Now make us a king to judge us like all the
nations."
[7] And the LORD said to Samuel, "Heed the voice of the
people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they
have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them.

[9] Now therefore, heed their voice. However, you shall
solemnly forewarn them, and show them the behavior of the king who will reign
over them."
When Israel demanded for a king when it was not yet The will
of God to give them a king, God gave
them a king that would lead them astray, a king that would banish the witches
of the land and still took his last meal in the witch's house and slept on the
bed of a sorcerer. He gave them a king
that would continually live in disobedience and commit suicide in the end. He gave a king whose head would be captured by the enemies
and hung in the shrine of an Idol.
....Because they insisted on having a king when they were
still to be ruled by a Judge.
....Because they Demanded for a king and wanted to be ruled
like other nations.
HE GAVE THEM A KING HE DID NOT WANTED TO GIVE TO THEM...
Similarly, they
demanded meat in the wilderness which the Lord did not want to give
them. They cried and insisted on having
what the Lord did not want to give to them.
And guess what.... THE LORD GAVE THEM THE DESIRE OF THEIR
HEART.... BUT WITH ALL THE ACCOMPANYING TROUBLES AND LEANNESS OF SOUL.
Must you do what others are doing while God does not want
you to do it? Must you have what your friends have while God does not want to
give you? Must you covet what is not in the plan and purpose of God for your
life? Must you twist the arm of God with your fasting and prayer to snatch from
Him what He was not yet ready to give to you?
So next time, when you are praying for a provision be
careful never to insist on some things the Lord never wanted to give to
you.
When next you are fasting and praying to demand some
things, for some promotions and relocations,
for some allocations of contracts and some earnest desires, MAKE SURE
YOU FAST AND PRAY FOR ONLY WHAT THE LORD WOULD DESIRE TO MAKE YOU HAVE....
When you know the Lord has closed a door against you because
He does not want you to pass through that door, DO NOT GO AHEAD PRAYING AND
FASTING FOR GOD TO CHANGE HIS MIND.
Even Jesus Christ, in the Garden of Gethsemane, prayed:
"Thy will be done, Father"
So DO NOT INSIST THAT YOUR OWN WILL BE DONE AT ALL COST.
Do NOT demand what you can not handle...
Do NOT demand in prayer and fasting for the money you can
NOT manage.
Do NOT demand the load you can not carry.
Don't Be Moved By Success Of Unbelievers - Mike Bamiloye Warns Christians
When Jesus provided a miraculous drought of Fishes for
Peter's boat, the Fishes were too many and the boat was sinking, so he quickly
beckoned to the other empty boat to come and help in sharing the supply.
SOME MIRACULOUS PROVISION OF FISHES CAN SINK YOUR BOAT
UNLESS YOU ARE READY TO SHARE THE BOOTY WITH ANOTHER EMPTY BOAT.
May I not pray and fast for a provision that will kill me.
May God never answer the Prayers that is not His will for my
life.
May I not request from God what will give me lifelong
troubles.
And If I ever requested for it, May the Lord never answer those prayers.
Stay Blessed.
