[Sermon]: Understanding How God Leads (4) – Bishop David Oyedepo

Understanding How God Leads (4) – Bishop David Oyedepo

Title:
Understanding How God Leads (Pt. 4)

Text: Isa. 59:8

Spiritual ignorance is our worst enemy in the kingdom.

We serve a covenant-keeping God and until our own part is played, God is not committed to playing His part.

Information is knowing what God has promised; revelation is knowing what to do in order to see the promise translated into reality.

Avenues by which we Access Light

1. Through personal search

2. Through the church platform. - Ps 73:17

3. Through teaching priests (and their resource materials) - 2 Chr. 15:3-5

No believer is luckier than the other, we are all equally accepted in the kingdom. The light each believer accesses is what makes the difference.

It is our thirst for knowledge that defines our future.

It takes joy to access God's presence where we locate the path of light.

Those who access the voice of God are ever joyful in the spirit; depressed people can never access divine guidance.

How to Access Divine Guidance

1. Create a serene and quiet environment around yourself. - Pro. 18:1, 1 Kgs. 19:11-16, 19

2. Through the ministry of teaching priests. - Isa. 30:20-21

3. Through joy and rejoicing - Ps. 16:11, Phil. 4:4, Isa. 30:29-30

Be cautious of a vision without revelation; it may not be from the Lord.

Biblical Proofs of being Led by the Spirit

1. Supernatural Insight. - Isa. 48:17, Ps. 32:8

2. Liberty of the Spirit. - Ps. 23:2, 2 Cor. 3:17, Acts 20: 22-23

Covenant Day of Restoration Ministration

- Every child of God is called unto glory and honour. - Rom. 8:29-30

- Understanding of the times is a great asset in the journey of life. Eccl. 3:1,2,11

- Any season of the move of the Spirit is ordained to be our season of restoration

- The manifest presence of God is a proof of a revival; it is validated by the salvation of souls and the restoration of glory in the lives of believers. - Zeph. 3:17-20

- A strange order of restoration usually accompanies a revival; so you are in a time of restoration.

- When you make a demand of what the enemy has stolen from you, heaven will respond because you are a partaker of the demands of the revival.

- You are entitled to your package of restoration and today you will see God in action!

- Let God be your only source of expectation because nobody can restore lost years and glory to you.

- Keep seeking first the Kingdom of God and all these things that others are dying to get, will be added to you in grand style.

- Commitment to kingdom advancement endeavours entitles a believer to supernatural restoration of all that they may have lost.
