Message:

To fear God means to obey all his precepts. Fearing God means readiness to obey all instructions.

To fear God is receiving a blessing. Proverb 28:4.

Jeremiah 32:40 – The fear of God is a promise and covenant.

The fear of God keeps us with him.

Things You Enjoy When You Obey God

1.            You can’t go hungry when you fear God. Psalm 34: 7-10.

2.            There will be an increase in the Church on all sides. Act 9:31

3.            There will be blessings of all manners when you fear God. Proverb 24:14.

4.            Takes us far away from sin. Exodus 20:20.

5.            Motivates you into evangelism. 1 Corinthians 5:11.

6.            It makes you a better person and adds to your years. Ecclesiastes 8:12-13.

Types of Fear

1.            Negative fear

2.            Positive fear

Numbers 14:1-4, 6-9

You need to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Philippians 2:12.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; if you fear God, He releases wisdom.
