Message: Understanding The Pathways To  Godliness

Text: Isa. 59:8

When God says 'be ye holy', it means He has made the provision for you to be holy.

When God makes known His ways, He puts you in command of His acts.

God will not command us to do what He hasn't given us the grace to do.

When we pray to be sanctified, God answers us because sanctification is His will.

Every provision of redemption is only deliverable by faith. You can't be healed without faith and you can't be free from sin without faith - Isa. 53:7

Godliness gives us access to eternity.

Healing, health and wholeness may keep us here on earth, but godliness secures eternity.

Godliness doesn't bring people down, it exalts.

God will not forgive any sin without genuine repentance.

Costs of Ungodliness

1. It stirs up unrest. - Isa. 48:22, Heb. 4:6, 1 Jhn. 3:7

Evil bows at the gate of the righteous. - Pro. 14:34

2. It blocks access to divine secrets. - Ps. 25:14

Access to divine secrets is behind the making of stars in the kingdom.

3. It blocks access to divine wisdom. - Pro. 8:15, Gen. 39:9, Gen. 42:18

We cannot access divine wisdom without the fear of God at work in us.

Access to divine wisdom cannot be compared to any other wisdom in the land of the living.
