Topic: That They May BE With Him

Text:  Mark 3:1

Message:

The selection/calling of man by the Lord to serve his people is predominantly dependent on how well/much they had been/ or would continue to be with Him, before they would do the working of signs and wonders.

The more you be or have been with the Lord would determine the works he performs through you.

The more you be with the Lord, the more of Him you carry

Going back to the calling of the twelve Apostles, the principal/first reason why they were called by Jesus was to be with him (Mark3:14), others were addition. to be with the Lord supersedes every other thing a man should desire or crave.

In times like this, what should be our priority should be how much of the Lord we carry, and it is impossicant to carry the Lord you have not been with.

Let me establish this with the story of the sons of Sceva in (Acts 19:11-17). They wanted to cast out demons to exemplify how Paul does, but the ending was pathetic because they knew him not, why ❓simply because they had not been with him.

Have you been with the Lord❓it is a Non-arguable fact that, If you have not been with Him, you cannot be like Him, and to be like Him is to do what he does.

Many people run away from Him but they want to do the things of Him, which are the working of signs and wonders, healing, deliverance etc, it can never be possible, because through Him, all things were made (John 1:3).

If all things were made through Him, then I see the impossibility in accessing all things without Him.

The only person that was recorded in the scripture to have seen God was Moses, he was with God before he was allowed to perform numerous signs and wonders which is still been said of .

He met with the Lord, patiently waited to see the end of the happening, and got the attention of God in full.

Exodus 3:4  And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.**

We shouldn't be ignorant that God watches us in all we do, he knows when we are on his page and off his page. He knows everything about us. He knows our motive of praying to Him, and why we pray.

When the Lord saw that he turned aside, most of us are not in tune with the Lord , some have had no encounter of Him yet they want to manifest in his Power. It is impossicant. Some even term the Lord has been slow to give them all of him, some cannot drop their will for his will and yet they want his will of signs and wonders fulfilled in their life and Ministry, it is doesn't exist in the realm of possibility.

There is something that is scarce in this generation, a commodity that makes the Lord capture the entirety of those he desires to use mightily, the commodity is Patience.

People don't want to wait on the Lord any more, they just want to be birthed and begin to jump the same day. How can this be possible? It can never and would never be possible. The place of patience should not be undermined as a salient virtue to get all of His deposited in you.

Exodus 3:3  And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. (KJV)

Moses had to turn aside, waited patiently until the voice came forth from the fire🔥. It is expedient that we learn how to make the Lord occupy us in this generation, the Lord is ready to release his all as the Emergence of the END-TIME SOLDIERS is on the inclination but the processes are being absconded by so many Ministers with the ace of getting there on time.

If you launch out before your time, you will crash out and when you crash out, you would be a cast out.    We need to learn how God does and groom his children.

That they may be with Him!, keeps ringing bell in my ears, the Initial and most pertinent thing that needs to be done by the Children/Ministers of God is to be with Him. It is quite unprecedented that the reverse is the case in this generation. The generation that wants to start saying deep things at birth, The generation that wants to start performing signs are wonders when they are supposed to be locked in intimacy with Him. The generation that are supposed to be buried in his presence, but are vowing to get the presence of the world whereby they are not present in his presence.

It wasn't a coincidence, neither was it accidental that the writer of Mark mentioned the reasons why Jesus called the Apostles in the ascent of their importance and  priority, from the point of view of Jesus' heart. Jesus needed people that would do what he does, but they cannot do the things he does without first being with him.

You cannot jump the queue, you can only lengthen it. Miraculous happening won't happen in a day, it takes processes, it takes waiting on the Lord, it takes cordial relationship and intimacy with the Lord.

That they may be with Him, are you with Him❓Most Persons/Ministers don't want to be with him, but they want to perform signs and wonders, they don't have an altar of Him in them, but they want to command Him to visibility before men, they don't know him like the sons of Sceva, but they want to use his name to cast out demons, perform sings and wonders, no wonder some Churches are cold, accommodating the operational system of the diabolic ones, no wonder the pews are now the Hideouts of the diabolical forces, no wonder the demons aren't afraid of coming to manifest in the churches in disguise as spiritual heights that commands speaking in tongues, am not condemning  speaking in tongues, because I too do speak in tongues, but the guise in churches are overwhelmed with profanity that brings no sanctity nor distinction between the spirit of God and the devil, why ❓because there is no time to be with Him, which would give clarity of spirit.

This is a call to return to Him, be with Him so that you would carry all of Him.

Without you being with Him, you cannot do the things of Him.

How to be with Him

I can hear your grieve of wanting to be with Him, but all your efforts has been to no avail, listed below are some suggested ways you can be with Him

1. Studying His Word: His word is as old as Him because he created all things through it, so if you want to be with Him, be with his word often times. (Joshua 1:8, col 3:16, 2tim 3:16)

During Jesus's earthly ministry, he spent most of his time teaching, why ❓so that people would know Him and his Father, because the word draws us to the father. To be with Him, study His word.

2. Tarry in Prayer: The place of prayer cannot be underestimated as a factor the grows intimacy between Man and God, it is a cogent route to being with Him. ( 1Thes 5:7)

3. Associate with God's Children: There is a saying that says, show me your friend and I would tell you who you are, to foster your relationship with Him, you need to associate yourself with his children because they would help you to often be in his presence. ( Heb 10:25, 1Cor15:33)

4. Giving yourself to Fast: Fast is a spiritual fluid that catalyze your prayer and catapult you to witness the awe presence of God. When God wanted to give Moses the 10 commandments, he fasted for forty days and forty nights twice, Jesus fasted for Forty days and forty nights before he ventured into his Ministry. Am not saying you need to fast for forty days and forty nights, all am saying is Fasting brings you more closer to the Lord and make you dwell in his awesomeness. To be with the Lord, Fast as the Lord Grace you. (Matthew 4:1ff, Luke 4:1ff).

5. Get Solitary with the Lord often times: I Pray the Lord would give us understanding. It is essential we have isolated times with the Lord so as to have a personal encounter of Him.

The solitary place could be a Prayer Mountain, a separated place by you to pray to Him, or a sophisticated prayer ground that commands the presence of God.  When God would give Moses the  Commandments, he called Moses to an isolated place which is the top of the mountain (Exodus 20:20), to get radical with the Lord, you have got to meet him in an isolated place. When Jacob was rechristened by the Lord, he was left alone in an isolated place, (Genesis 32:24ff). There is a presence of God you command when you are alone. Try to get your prayer life spiced up with a personal encounter with the Lord.
