Daily Tonic: Passion

Text: Acts 22:18 KJV

And saw him saying unto me, Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me.

Message:

When Jesus encountered Paul and he became Chtist’s disciples he began to preach to his people about Jesus because he saw the pathetic and ignorance situation they were. They were zealous in their religion but failed to receive the gift of God (salvation through Jesus.) Despite the fact that Jesus told Paul to leave the city that they will not receive him . He left but still came back to preach to them. Paul was so passionate to minister salvation to his people despite all his sufferings,

When you are passionate about your calling and vision you will be ready to go all out to fulfill it .

That is why Paul told a young man to make sure he fulfill his ministry.

Colossians 4:17 And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.

What has God called you to do? What have you received in the Lord to do?

Take heed to do it and fulfill it because that is the only thing that will remain after our labor on earth .

That is also what you will give account ( and your life ) at the end of everything. Don’t stop or be weary because You did not receive it from man but God . Be passionate about it and be determined to fulfill it

Nothing can hinder you not even the present situation. You only need to look inward and God will open your eyes to various strategies to do your ministry. Don’t be lazy. seek God’s face with passion for your vision and nothing will be able to cage you like Paul Apostle who could not be caged by the Jews and their various persecutions.
